Exclusively Kofra · Norwich

The only Kofra
in Brighton.

NorwichBrighton

Every cup we pull is roasted by Kofra of Norwich, and we’re the only place in Brighton serving them. Beans travel down from East Anglia, rotate often, and lean light to medium so the fruit comes through.

Ask the team what’s on today. They taste everything, they’ll tell you what it does, and there’s no wrong question.

Fruity · Complex · Precisely made

Four ways to drink it.

However you take it, it’s the same care behind the bar: dialled in, tasted, and poured to bring the fruit out.

  • Espresso

Single shots and milk drinks. Chocolate and stone-fruit, depending on the bean.

  • Filter

Hand-poured, light to medium. Floral and fruity; peach and blueberry turn up often.

  • Batch brew

Today's house filter, ready to go. The one regulars come back for.

  • Cold brew & iced

Slow-steeped iced drinks, including the iced chai people keep raving about.

Baked here,
every morning.

The banana bread that gets its own mention in half our reviews? That’s made here, in small batches, the morning you eat it.

Alongside it: cookies with chocolate and hazelnut, pistachio tiffin, a vegan chai & walnut cake, carrot & pumpkin loaf, and savoury samosas with chutney when you fancy something other than sweet.

Really, really good coffee. We tried a filter coffee, a flat white with pea milk, and the ‘Chefs Kiss’. The Chefs Kiss is one shot of espresso, and a cortado with one shot. This particular espresso had notes of chocolate.

Went to Komodo after hearing it was the best coffee in Brighton, and I can confirm this being the case! The Iced chai latte is the best I’ve ever had.

A quiet little place for specially sorted coffees and yummy cookies. They rotate their beans often — as a drink or to take home! I love they often have floral, light to medium roast.

One of my favourite finds of a flying trip to Brighton — cosy, friendly space with a warm welcome and delicious coffee and cookies. Tucked down a side street this felt like a real hidden gem!

What a relaxing atmosphere in Komodo, service, coffee, decor and cookie all 10/10! I got a batch brew and my boyfriend got a latte, let’s say it definitely lives up to the hype.
